Our goals in tutoring is to get you up and running with the learning tools necessary to complete your task or your overall education in Photoshop. We can teach all versions of Photoshop and have experience with Photoshop since version 4.0 that was first presented in late 1996. I am a Credential teacher in the State of California for the past 6 years teaching photography, Photoshop, and Digital printing.

Print or web

Basic Lessons
Basic lessons begin with how to find your way around in Photoshop, how to perform some basic tasks like zoom in and zoom out, as well as learning how to find and work on those lost images. The first lesson requires one hour minimum for orientation and first lesson material, subsequent lessons can be any length.

Intermediate Lessons
Intermediate skills are teaching you how to make, and apply layers and how to control their effects on an image. Layer masking, Text and how to apply text effects. Recommendations on image conversion, Camera Raw controls, as well as web based preparation if that is your direction of interest.

Advanced Lessons
For those who need special attention to some of the more difficult areas in Photoshop like Layer modes, local contrast control, Color correction, color management for printing and other more complicated tasks. This can include final image prep for web presentation, or multimedia slide shows.

Project only Lessons
Perhaps there is a special project that you want to do, and some of the tasks you need to apply are just a little over your head and you feel you might like some help. This level of tutoring can take on any direction you like, such as finally printing those old negatives that have been stored away for years, restoring damaged prints. Any pproject welcome, just call to confirm a time when we can talk about the details.
